Hello,
I am wanting to have a several paragraphs show on the page but only when you scroll down to that part/section of the page, any section above this would always be shown.
I was initially thinking of using the accordion but do not know if it can automatically open on scroll to.
Can you suggest another method?
Thanks.
Hey John,
Have you tried the animation effects in the advanced layout elements ? Example you can use a 1/1 column and drop the contents in it and set the animation effects to fadein that would make the content appear when you scroll down.
We would be glad to help you with this customization of accordion to open when you scroll, but at the moment there is no easy way to do this by using a small custom code snippet, so I am afraid its out of the scope of our support.
But please feel free to request such feature at our feature request system: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
This system allows us to keep track of user suggestions and lets you vote on the feature you would like to see the most. I am afraid though there is no guarantee that a feature will get implemented. If that’s something you really need you can always try to hire a developer for the task :)
Best regards,
Vinay
Thanks Vinay.
I think the ‘fade-in’ animation on the 1/1 column should do what I am after. Just a matter of ensuring there is enough space above so that it doesn’t load with the page but only on scroll down.
Cheers
John
Hi,
You can use some whitespace / separator elements for that.
