    Hi guys,

I am checking my homepage through validator.w3.org and it is showing a few errors. This is also being flagged up with my SEO tool so a little concerend. (Link attached in pvt)

There are a couple that are related to Facebook which I appreciate you have no control over but would like help in eliminating others related to Enfold such as the RSS Feed and Font’s. There is a fatal error too relating to fonts so any help and advice in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards,
    Marc

    Hey MarcG5,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

This what envato has to say about validators:

All author-generated HTML needs to be validated via the W3C validator. However, browser prefixes and any other cutting edge code will be exempt.

Most themes in the market with advanced features will not pass this compliance test due to the complexity of the options offered. Those validators aren’t really that valid any more. I’ll put more effort in the site content and search engine optimization.

Error: Start tag body seen but an element of the same type was already open.

I have no idea why this error occurs because upon checking on the page markup, there is no container between the closing head tag and the opening body tag. Or it’s probably because of the layer slider scripts. I will just ignore those errors.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Thanks Ismael,

Understood and thanks for the clarification. I’ll take a closer look when I get time to see what if anything I can do to resolve them but as suggested I’ll concentrate on content and other SEO factors for now.

    Cheers
    Marc
