    Hello,
after I am rebuilding my old site with WP and Enfold-Theme, I would like to transplant my old counter to the new site. I have succeeded in Prestashop, but in Enfold-Theme when I get the counter to show itself, I cannot see the counter, only the text of the code. The code itself looks like this:

    <script language=”Javascript” src=”http://www.countercity.de/c.php?id=XXXXXX&vid=XXXXXXX”></script&gt;
    <noscript>Homepage Statistik von XXXXXXX.com</noscript>

(I have replaced here the numbers and the address with the Xs –
… and also I can see that after submitting my content, there is not the whole code to be seen… do not know why…)

Is there any possibility to get this working? It is not necessary to have the counter in the footer,
anyway, the idea is of course to continue counting the hits on every page.

    Thank you very much

    Hey jirka26,

Could you provide us with a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hello, Rikard,

sure, I can provide the link – below in Private Data.

Anyway, I did remove the code again after it was not functional. Should I maybe insert it again so that you can see the result?

    Thank you very much

    Hey!

Please post the script on pastebin.com because it is broken here or wrapped it with backticks. You can also use the “avia_after_footer_columns” hook. Example: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/footer-layoutspacing-questions/#post-524341

    Thank you, Ismael,

the code is now on pastebin, link below.

Initially I wanted to place the code just under the facebook widget in the 2nd footer column. I thought it would be easy just to place another widget below it, insert the code… I did it with a text-widget, because the description tells me, also html-code can be added. Maybe I need another special widget?

    Thank you

    My best regards

    Hi,

Can you please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately? I tried adding your code to Code Block element and Text widget and it did work fine on my local installation – http://i.imgur.com/CoZK7JL.png

    Thank you, Yigit,

let us see if this will work in the footer, too. If it will, I have no idea what kind of mistake I did…
Anyway, your admin login please see below.

    My best regards

P.S.: My goal was to get the counter just under the facebook box in the 2nd column – but this does not have to be, if it should cause problems. The most important is, that the counter should count hits on every page.

    Thank you

    Hi!

Link in custom content you would like to add is loaded over HTTP while your website is on HTTPS. That is why it is being blocked. Please see private content field

    Cheers!

    Thank you, Yigit,

now comes my final question: What can I do about it? Is there any way to command, that the script should be loaded anyway? Or does it simply mean, that i cannot load it under https under any circumstances? I am afraid that will be the case. I have now found out, that the counter in prestashop behaves the same way – http ON https OFF.

Could you recommend a counter, that could be used as well in Enfold as in Prestashop? It should be possible to set the counter, so that I could take over the number of hits from the old counter and not begin counting at zero again?

Thank you very much for your time, much appreciated!

    Hi,

I think you should be able to find a plugin which does this for you, maybe you’ll find something here? https://tah.wordpress.org/plugins/tags/hit-counter

    Best regards,
    Rikard
