    Hi,

    About a month ago (on April 13) I tried updating my website to WordPress 4.5 and updating Enfold to 3.5.2. This made a mess since some of the widgets disappeared. Noting helped fix the problem and I restored my website from backup.

    Since then I made a copy of the website on WAMP server so I’ll be able to see all goes OK before I update again on the live website. I was hoping that one of the upcoming version updates will fix the problem but that didn’t happen yet.

    Last Friday (May 6) WordPress 4.5.2 security release came out and it’s really important for me to be able to make the necessary updates without braking my website.

    I tried updating WordPress to 4.5.2 and Enfold version 3.5.4 on my local install and still the same – widgets are getting deleted and the all websites gets messed up.

    My website is in Hebrew. Something I just noticed – widgets which have a name in English stayed ok but widgets which have a name which includes Hebrew and English together have the content disappear from the widget but still displayed on the website and widgets with a Hebrew name were compliantly deleted.

    Can you please advice what to do???

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • the URL to the login screen
    • a valid username (with full administration capabilities)
    • as well as a password for that username

    That won’t help since as I mentioned I did everything on a local server (WAMP)…

    Any idea why is this happening and how to prevent it from happening?
