Hello,
This client has a live site (http://www.thirdstreetshoe.com/) and a in-progess site (http://www.moobuzz.net/shoepaste/) on Enfold and both are having the problem that when using the advanced editor the title and featured image disappear.Example – a simple test page that has a featured image and was created with the advanced editor: http://www.moobuzz.net/shoepaste/test-advanced-layout-editor
Example made without advanced editor:
On the test site the masonry blog on the phone is not showing featured images. The live site does not have a blog.
Enfold is 3.5.4 WordPress 4.5.1, All plugins are up to date.
Most plugins are inactivated. . . on/ off did not make a difference
The site was updated last week using a different computer – just didn’t recognize the problem.
Deleted Twenty Eleven
The test side was updated automatically, the live site was updated via ftp
I have killed cache many times and restarted the computer.totally.
I followed the advice given and the child theme’s functions.php has the code you provided. Thanks for your help

When using ALB to create posts, you should add title, Social Share Buttons and Comment elements manually using ALB.
Also, you forgot to set featured image in this post for exampleBest regards,
YigitMay 4, 2016 at 4:38 pm #627334Yigit, I did not use the advanced editor on that post and yes, the featured image is not created yet so has not been added. Instead, please look at the post mentioned above- featured image shows up in right sidebar but not on the single post.
Title does not look like the when using the default editor.
masonry blog on the phone is not showing featured images in general
thanks
May 8, 2016 at 4:17 am #628754Hi,
That is actually the default template when you use the advance layout builder either for posts or pages. The template do not contain any default elements such as the title, featured images, comment section etc., so the user can work on a blank canvas. If you want to retain the featured image and title, please use the default editor.
Best regards,
