Hello,
I have issues with creating new posts for my blog. I think they occured since I’ve updated to WordPress 4.5.* but I am not entirely sure.1. The text in the default editor is white:
I have marked some letters so you can see that there is actually text in front of the white background: http://img04.imgland.net/-Zc05O2.png2. When I use the advanced layout editor and I put a color section in there it will move the sidebar which I have for every post, down the way as you can see here: http://img.imgland.net/ensOCA.png , it should look like the other posts: http://img03.imgland.net/MWTRjA.png , furthermore I also miss the “footer area” for my blogposts: http://img04.imgland.net/Na4Zq87.png
In the private content I left you admin credentials

May 4, 2016 at 6:18 am #626897Hi KVSchneppenheim,
The default editing menu is not showing at all on my end in the default editor, could you try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?
Regards,
RikardMay 4, 2016 at 7:03 pm #627445What do you mean by “default editing menu” ? http://img04.imgland.net/2KPc3Aa.png <- For me it shows the “Default Editor” button perfectly fine?
Anyways feel free to deactive the plugins, but we only have 4 very popular plugins activated. I am convinced it’s not caused by one of them. We haven’t changed these plugins for one year now and we haven’t experienced such issues earlier.
May 6, 2016 at 6:42 am #628124Hi,
Yes but if you select the default editor the regular formatting buttons etc will not show. If there is not a conflict with your plugin I would try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Thanks,
RikardMay 6, 2016 at 11:38 am #628214I have just replaced my enfold folder via FTP with the fresh downloaded enfold theme, deactivated ALL plugins, and I still have the same issue: http://img04.imgland.net/s0Slwzz.png . WordPress is up to date as well. What is wrong here?
Deactivated plugin list: http://img03.imgland.net/Lm8m-zi.png
I googled about this issue and a wordpress moderator said this is most likely an issue with the paid theme if we are using this theme. He recommended to contact the theme developer. Maybe these errors appearing at the google console help? http://img02.imgland.net/OVIeEE7.png
Edit: After trying a lot I figured out the solution. I had to add this line into my wp-config.php. A lot users experienced this issue, so I hope you can help other users as well.
define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); // <———- ADD THIS LINE
/** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */
require_once(ABSPATH . ‘wp-settings.php’);- This reply was modified 8 years, 6 months ago by KVSchneppenheim.

RikardMay 10, 2016 at 11:51 am #629824Hi,
I do have very much the same problem: Using the Avia Layout Editor on blogposts is not really working.
Any full wide elements (like “color section”) will cut the sidebar in half (http://2.1m.yt/JjyT5tE.png). If I use the 1/1 layout elements instead it’s impossible to adjust the inner padding (no padding http://2.1m.yt/vI5JUw2.png). I can type in any number, but the padding ist not working on the blogpost (http://2.1m.yt/FvFWiwE.png).
I just want to add a colored box with information to my blogposts (with some nice inner padding / whitespace).
WP, enfold theme and all plugins are up to date. I already deactivated every single plugin, but the problem is still there.
Unfortunately the “trick” with the wp-config.php doesn’t work [to add define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); ]
Any ideas?Chris
May 11, 2016 at 6:48 am #630450Hi @ArkenPrint,
That is the expected behaviour when using full width elements such as a Color Section, they are full width and the sidebar will display underneath them when used in combination.
Please post admin login details in private so that we can have a look at the padding of your elements, please specify on what page you are having this problem as well.
Thanks,
