Hey,
I made a color section, with a Background Image and set size to minimum 100%.
Now when scrolling down the page, it annoys me, that the color section is never really shown in total. It is always either a some space at the top or the bottom.
So my question is how can I make the website automatically scroll that way, that the color section is at least onetime shown in fullscreen? Is that even possible with a color section or should I rather take a Fullscreen slider?Thank you,

Could you provide us with a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?

Thanks for the link, I’m not sure what you mean by your first post though. The color section is showing full screen on my end? Please try to explain a bit further and/or post screenshots highlighting the issue.
Thanks,

Problem: When Scrolling down, I would like a color section (call it Section A) to automatically scroll that way, that the top of the section is at the upppest thing you can see and not a little bit of the section above. If a little bit of the upper color-section is visible I want the website to automaticall scroll down a little bit until the top of the Section A is at the top of the window.
May 6, 2016 at 10:54 am #628200Hi,
We cannot see the elements you are describing with mockup on the site. It is just showing a spinning cog i believe it is a password protected site would you mind posting your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- the URL to the login screen
- a valid username (with full administration capabilities)
- as well as a password for that username

May 10, 2016 at 5:44 am #629601Hi,
This is how we see the site on our end:
The color section is full screen.

IsmaelMay 10, 2016 at 8:40 am #629730Yes, it is, but if you scroll down only a few milimeters it is not anymore and the next 100% color section automatically will not be 100%, too. Then there will always be some little of the color before/after at top/bottom of the screen visible.

So my question is: is there a way to automatically correct that? So that when scrolling down the page a 100% color section is at least one time perfectly fits the screen?Thank you!
GerkeMay 11, 2016 at 7:17 am #630473Hey!
I’m sorry but I can’t reproduce the issue that you’re describing in the screenshot. How can we reproduce that? The succeeding color sections are still 100% in height. What browser are you using?
Regards,
IsmaelMay 11, 2016 at 9:05 am #630525The problem is not about the height. The Problem is about the Scrolling. When Scrolling down the page, I would like to make sure, that the top of some color sections always is at top of the window when scrolling down.
So this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wa06lu4dn06dbla/scrolling_problem.PNG?dl=0
should automatically be corrected to this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r8mdq6usolzje1f/How_it_should_be.PNG?dl=0So again, yes the color sections do have the correct height, but I would like to make sure that when scrolling down the page the top of a (specific) color section always at least once is at top of the window, so that the whole color Section is at least once shown in fullscreen.
Do you understand what I mean?
Thank you for help,
GerkeMay 12, 2016 at 1:11 pm #631324Hi,
I checked link you have provided but cannot see what you are showing in your screenshot. Would you mind providing a precise link to your site, showing the elements in question? We need to be able to inspect them in order to help :)

AndyMay 12, 2016 at 1:28 pm #631333Hello,
First of all thanks for your endurance.
It is not about one specific element, it is about scrolling down in general.
When scrolling down I want to make sure that the top of for example the color-section about us is at least once shown at the top of my screen.
Let’s make an example, imagine:
The absolute top of my page is height 1000px. The absolute bottom (bottom of footer) is height 0px. On my Screen I can show 100px. When now a color section begins at height 500px and ends at height 400px and the screen shows from height 395 to 495, there is 5px of another Color-Section shown. This is what annoys me, so I would like that view then to be Auto-corrected to show from height 500px to 400px, so that the whole color section is shown, without any other color-section.Do you understand now?
Thank You!
