    Hi Enfold team!
    I’ve probably found a small bug on image overlay effect.
    The overlay effect works fine if you have one or more images on top of the page.
    If you put a gallery or a different content after them and add new images below the gallery, the overlay effect doesn’t work on those new images.

    You can see an exemple on the private link.
    At the bottom of the page you’ll see images with a link but without the overlay effect.
    (p.s. the overlay effect magically reappears if I take one of those new images at the top but this’s not what I want. Looks like the gallery overlay effect stops the classic image overlay effect… but I’m not sure).

    Hi and sorry for the late reply.

    Actually thats something that I have not come across yet.

    Would you mind posting us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend?

    Login credentials include:

    • the URL to the login screen
    • a valid username (with full administration capabilities)
    • as well as a password for that username

    Hi,

    I am afraid without the possibility to check your backend its a little hard to investigate the issue further. I can see that the overlay is not applied but I am not sure if this is a plugin conflict, an issue with the layout builder, a customization or something completely different :/

    Any chance you can provide a login at a later time?

    I checked the page again and the overlay effect has been removed entirely. We also see this error in the console but I don’t think it’s related:

    jquery.js?ver=1.12.3:2 Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: .main_menu .menu li > a[href*=#]

    The password is incorrect: 

    ERROR: The password you entered for the email address  (Email address hidden if logged out)  is incorrect. Hai dimenticato la password?

    I updated wordpress to the last release and the enfold theme too.
    the bug is still there.

    Now you should see again the problem, no orange overlay on image links at the bottom of the homepage.
    Can you give me your mail ismail? I’ll create a new user for you.

    Hi,

    You can use any email you like, one of your own maybe. We only need user and pass to be able to log in :-)

    Hi,

    I am afraid not :/
    I copied the page to my test installation to see if the same problem occurs and it does not. on my test site the images display the overlay as they should.

    I can only imagine that maybe a plugin or an existing modification is causing the problem but since there are so many I wouldn’t even beginn were to start :/

    Not sure if this is easily fixable without disabling all existing plugins and disabling all modification that were done until this point. I am sorry that I do not have better news here.
