I’m trying to download from themeforest the new update but when I go to open it my system tells me the file is corrupt.

When you open it on you local computer? If so we need to know what system you are on. I think it will be difficult to help you if it’s a local problem though. If you need help updating your theme files you can refer to this: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
