    Hi,
This has got to be a simple configuration that I am missing. The background of my drop-down menu’s are transparent (image showing through) and the blue font is difficult to read. I’m looking for menus with black font and white background. Can anyone please provide some guidance on where to set?

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi!

    Please make sure that wp-content/uploads folder has correct permissions ( 755 ) – http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

    Hi Yigit,

Thanks for the reply. Permissions are already set at 755.

Also, I’m running WordPress version 4.5 if it makes any difference.

    Hi!

Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.5.3 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh

Stylesheet cannot be found at the moment and that is causing the issue. If updating the theme does not help, please try de-activating all active plugins

    Regards,

    Hi Yigit,

Thank you so much for the troubleshooting guidance. The issue has been resolved, but I’m not sure what did the trick…let’s just say ‘all of the above’

I updated Enfold code as, cleared the cache, and performed the ‘hard refresh’ has you suggested…and still no luck. I then disable every one of my plug-ins and executed a ‘hard refresh’ and, Shazam! everything begins behaving properly with the white backgrounds on the menus. I then started re-activating my plug-ins individually (followed by a refresh) to determine which one might be causing the conflict with the menus. To my surprise, every plug-in re-activated successfully without further impact on the menus; everything is behaving as expected.

So, I don’t know enough about what is going on ‘under the covers’ with WordPress, but what you suggested worked and I am thankful.
