Dear Kriesi team,
I have a problem with the Avia Layout Architect – breaks aren’t working, no matter if I insert them with the enter key, with shift and enter, or manually with <br /> or in the HTML. Sometimes they are visible in the frontend, but in the backend they aren’t visible after saving the page.
I saw, that you had the same problem already in the year 2014 (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/impossible-to-have-spaces-into-my-texts-tag-not-working), but it was solved by Kriesi by a themeupdate.
By the way, I also have problems with the new updates – WordPress 4.5 and Enfold 3.5.2 – the jQuery doesn’t work anymore, when I install the new versions. The update is only just from 2016 March 22th, will this jQuery-problem be solved with the next theme update?
Best regards from Austria!
April 18, 2016 at 11:38 am #616296Hi netengineat!
check this link: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/having-problems-after-updating-to-wordpress-4-5-please-read-this-first/
Try to deactivate all your plugins to check if one is causing this issue. Update to Enfold v3.5.3.
Cheers!
AndyApril 18, 2016 at 1:55 pm #616466Thank’s for your reply Andy.
The problems with the jQuery are solved with the update and the entry in the functions.php – thank you a lot for this.
But we still have the problem with the Avia Layout Architect, even if all plug-ins are deactivated. Please check the link we sent you in the first question – the same problem was already there in the year 2014 – please help us to solve the problem with the breaks in the editor.
Kind regards from Austria.

AndyApril 21, 2016 at 2:04 pm #619155Hi Andy,
no – it’s also not working with the WordPress default theme.. just as I’m changing from the visual to the text editor, or from the text to the visual editor, the <br /> are gone. So you think it’s a WordPress-sided problem – not theme-sided, aren’t you? Alternatively, could it be a problem with the Avia Layout Architect itself?Thank’s a lot for your patience.
Austrian regards,
.NETengineApril 22, 2016 at 10:34 am #619711Hey!
exactly, when this is happening with a default WP theme as well, then it’s not a theme related issue and then we can’t do much about it. Contact WP general forum about it.
Best regards,
Andy -
