Hi,
I am confused by all the sliders available with Enfold. It seems like with the exception of the layer slider, the other sliders duplicate each other’s functions for the most part with subtle differences? Is there a cheat sheet that tells which slider to use and when?I am trying to make a simple slide show and tried both Full Width Easy Slider and Easy Slider (I tried Layer Slider as well).
My photos are a mix of landscape and portrait. I am OK with the slider box resizing as it scrolls through, I guess, but with all of these sliders the photos are HUGE and the user has to scroll up and down the page to see the whole image (I don’t want to hide my menu).
I have tried-
-Putting them in color sections
– Putting easy slider inside layout elements (1/5, 3/5 and 1/5)
– Specifying different sizes in slider config (which seems to keep images the same size)I have not published the page for you to see because I don’t want to publish it before I figure this out.
Any suggestions on some best practices / tips?
Thanks,

Thank you for using Enfold.
Yes, you’re correct. The sliders are using the same script with different parameters or options. They work better for images with the same dimension, orientation and aspect ratio. Choosing the thumbnail size works but cropped thumbnails from different sources do not have the same size sometimes so they might not work on a few cases. Best option is to upload pre-cropped thumbnails with the same size and orientation then set the thumbnail selection to “No Scaling”.

UPDATE: The usual dimension of the slider images in the demo is 1500x450px or anything close to that. This dimension works for standard screen sizes.
