After updating wordpress to 4/5 and Enfold to 3.5.2, the sliders and google maps elements are not functioning.
For the featured image sliders I can see the controls, but no content is showing. I did see that the categories to display weren’t highlighted after the update. I have the categories selected. It also seems an offset was selected. I adjusted the sliders I have to no offset.
I have cleared cashes, done hard reset of browser caches, and saved permalinks. I also uninstalled the theme and reinstalled the old one, and updated to 3.5.2 again.
The last update did show the following error message upon completion: Warning: Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=85549 in /public_html/wp/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1803.
Please let me know what you would advise.
Thanks!
Pushed the 3.5.2 theme files using ftp. Maps and sliders still not working.
Hey!
I just cheked your site and both Google map and slider are showing fine. Please empty the browser cache and check again.
Best regards,
Vinay
We tried emptying our browsers and installed a new browser just in case. Still no slider.
Working now. Thanks!
Hey!
Strange! I see the map fine but the slider is not working now. I see this error in js console
Uncaught TypeError: $.AviaTooltip is not a constructor
This could be because of a plugin conflict. To find the plugin in conflict please follow the below steps
1. Goto plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
2. Updated WordPress and Enfold to latest version if you have not.
3. Activate one plugin at a time… refresh the page and check for the issue.
4. Make sure the plugins are all updated
Regards,
Vinay
Will try a bit more tonight. I am not seeing the error. Will still refresh things to make sure.
