When Enfold is configured in the General Layout as “Logo and Main Menu” set to Left Sidebar and Boxed Layout, things go missing.

When viewing a “Page”, the page title is no longer included in the rendered output. Desktop or Mobile.

When viewing the main “Blog” page, Images or blog captions are not displayed within the list. Any list format if the blog entry was created using the “Advanced Layout Editor”. It works fine when the “Default Editor should be used.

Test site: link provided in the “private content section”.

The first entry “Easter Egg Hunt” was created using the “Default Editor”. Go into that entry to see the social networking links and comment box are present.

All other entries were created using the “Advanced Layout Editor”, the social networking links and comment box are missing.

    Any ideas appreciated,

    Chris

    Hey Chris,

I had a look at a couple of your pages but I couldn’t see anything missing from them, could you try explain a bit further and/or post screenshots of the issues please?

When using the builder for posts you will need to set the excerpt manually in the post, you can do so by selecting to view the Excerpt field under Screen Option in the top right hand corner of the edit screen.

    Thanks,

    Hi!

Note by using the advance layout builder for post, you’ll be removing every default elements ( featured image, comments, post meta info etc) in the post template. You’ll be required to add the content and excerpt or caption manually. Look for the Screen Options then enable the Excerpt.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

Thank you for taking the time to review my situation.

Is it possible for the Enfold theme to automatically include these elements that are usually included in a blog post? Featured photo, first 20 words as a caption, etc.?

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Yes, if you switch to the default editor before saving you should get the regular items in your posts.

    Regards,
    Rikard
