Hi there,
My site is having issues displaying the homepage correctly. Other pages on the site load and look fine but the homepage layout is messed up. The homepage layout is unresponsive when I change the window size, the sidebar is at the bottom of the page, etc… Only on the homepage, no where else. Enfold version is up to date, Chrome browser had cache and cookies cleared and reset and problem persists. I checked it on my phone too – same result, all pages are normal except the homepage.
Hey Andrew!
For some reason your site is not loading on my end but i suppose the issue you’re having it’s related to some elements being outside of #wrap_all
, try the following:
– Make sure all content is wrapped in a Color Section (or multiple ones).
– Enable debug mode and check for unwanted
HTML tags between shortcodes.
Cheers!
Josue
ok, I’ll see how I go with that… check this other link to see if another page loads for you
seems somehow that the problem has occurred when I created a blog post using the advanced layout editor – usually I blog using the Default editor. It’s messing all kinds of things up and now I can’t seem to fix it
I fixed it. I didn’t need to debug and I didn’t even get around to looking for HTML tags between short codes.
It seems the problems were being caused by the use short codes in a blog post, which is rather annoying. How else can I add galleries or special elements in a post without a short code…
Is this something you guys are aware of?
Could be caused by many factors but one workaround you could try is set a custom manual Excerpt for the Posts you’re going to use ALB, that way that will show in the homepage instead of the ALB content.
