    Hi, my site has been hacked and Google is now blocking the shopping cart page. Is there anything you can recommend to remove them and secure the site (other than purchasing Sucuri)?

    Hi Steven!

    Please remove the theme and re-install it via FTP and overwrite all files. You may need to install WordPress again – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Thanks for the response. I’m using a child theme – does that matter?

    And will this effect my page content?

    Hi Steve!

    No the fact that you are using a Child Theme does not matter. It’s actually better, since any custom changes you may have made in the code will not be overwritten by the update. It also should not affect your page content as the update will only update the theme’s files, not pages or posts.

    Note though, that it is always important to back up your site before.
