    Hello

    Can you please advise which plugins are most suitable for the following:

    1. To automatically have my blog posts posted to my facebook, twitter, LinkedIn and reddit social profiles?
    2. Which is a good plugin that allows my blog posts to have social share icons so my posts can be shared?

    Hey mrcityrunner,

    1. I think you should be able to do that with JetPack, there are probably 100’s to choose from if you do a search.

    2. You don’t need a plugin for that, there is theme functionality doing that already with the Social Share Buttons element.

    With regards to point 2, please tell me how to enable social share icons for the blog posts? I specifically want social icons to appear after each blog post so that post can be shared.

    Hi!

    Are you using Advanced Layout Builder to create your posts? If so, you can simply add Social Share Buttons element under Content Elements tab of ALB

    But that means I have to do that every single time I post a blog post which is a waste of time. There are plugins that automatically add social share buttons under each blog post….surely you must know of one that works well with your theme?

    Hi,

    Not really since the functionality exist in the theme already. If you want the share buttons to appear on posts you’ve used the builder on you could try switching to the default editor before saving, they should appear then. If you want to use a plugin then you will have to try if they work or not.
