Hello
Just two days ago the Layerslider WP timeline stopped giving me the ability to use it to organize the times each layer will start. So I can not pull, change, extend time, move any layer timeline.
Please advise if this is an issue with the latest theme update or WP.

March 31, 2016 at 7:43 am #605685Hey!
Sorry for the delay. We created a slider in order to test the timeline option and it is working as expected. We successfully sort the order of the layers from 1-10 to random positions: http://www.northrangeenergy.com/nre/wp-admin/admin.php?page=layerslider&action=edit&id=6#

Can you advise if the slider uses JAVA, or MACROMEDIA FLASH or any plugin that I require to update or install?

March 31, 2016 at 2:50 pm #605916I have went on 3 different computers and used the same number of browsers…..
My problem is I can not move the TIMELINE slider to organize which layer starts when.
Thanks
April 1, 2016 at 6:00 am #606486Hi!
It is built using javascript and php so you don’t need any third party plugins. How are you dragging the layers? Make sure that you drag the “burger” or 3 rectangular line icon beside the “eyes” or “visibility” icon.
Cheers!
IsmaelApril 1, 2016 at 3:22 pm #606715I go to the timeline chart and try to drag the line there…. I did it before for many months but now its not.
My client is getting tooooo angry for the delay. Is there a video to show me what you are talking about?
April 4, 2016 at 6:41 am #607389Hi!
Did you check the test slider? We managed to sort the order of the layers in the timeline. Actually, you don’t need to switch to the timeline panel to sort the order of the layers. Please try it on another browser.
Check the following screenshot of the timeline panel. Note that you cannot set the delay and duration options there. You can only review the current timings of the layer. http://imgur.com/07ow2MJ

IsmaelApril 5, 2016 at 6:06 pm #608406Hello
I did, my problem is not organizing the order of the layers. In one specific layer, or another, when I go to the graphical line of timeline as shown in the attached image, in the past I used to use my mouse to place the onset and end of the play per layer, now I cant.

April 7, 2016 at 8:56 am #609434Hey!
I didn’t know that’s possible. I thought that you can only review the timings of the layer in the timeline panel. I will ask the rest of the support team to check it. For now, you will have to modify the duration and delay values manually.

IsmaelApril 13, 2016 at 6:42 pm #613088any luck?
April 15, 2016 at 4:48 pm #614985Hi!
Can you please firstly update Enfold to the latest version 3.5.2 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/?
Best regards,
YigitMay 10, 2016 at 4:48 am #629586Hello
I have updated as suggested and waited for even layerslider update! so far there is similar problems. The timeline using mouse change time of each layer start and period is not working. I even went into another domain and installed the same enfold theme on it and still did not work.
As mentioned before, and 100% tested by myself, the layerslider is placing all layers on the same start, end and duration time.
Please understand that I am one step from taking this issue of support to envato directly.
May 11, 2016 at 11:55 am #630618Hi,
Please update the theme to the latest version. That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :). Also update your WordPress version.
To update to the latest version follow the simple instructions here. (Or if you want the super detailed explanation you can read this blog post)
If that does not help, feel free to reply here and we will take a closer look at the issue. In that case please also add your WordPress login credentials (in the “private data” field) so we can take a look at your admin area
If that does not help then please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :).If you still experience some issues there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:
Best regards,
AndyJune 20, 2016 at 7:21 am #650644I have done all of the above and the problem is still consistent. in addition, now the MENU drag and drop is not working with the latest update!!!! this is not very comfortable…
June 21, 2016 at 12:40 am #651145Hi,
please update to Enfold v3.6.1.
Also you are using an old version of WordPress, so please update it too.
Keep all plugins deactivates while testing. Make sure that you’ve really deleted all theme files completely via FTP, before getting a fresh copy from your themeforest account.
Are we allowed to deactivate all your plugins, too?Best regards,
AndyJune 21, 2016 at 4:40 am #651224yes please de-activate all plugins and feel free to do anything to get this working. I used a code you suggested for the drag drop menu buttons and it worked (something to do with contentate). but the layerslider still acting up.
June 21, 2016 at 4:28 pm #651560Hi,
I checked again your backend and you did not follow our instructions. Please let us know when you are ready and updated WordPress and the theme to the newest version.
Best regards,
AndyJune 28, 2016 at 4:18 am #654039I am also experiencing this issue. I am using Enfold 3.6.1 and WP 4.5.3 that has no customizations. My browser is Google Chrome. When I go in to view the timeline of my slide, I do not have the option of timing the layers. Each layer is timed identically and cannot be adjusted. I’d like the image to come in first, then the text, for example.
I can’t even drag the timeline items on the two sample sliders that came with the theme.
Seems like there’s a bug?
