Hello to the team,
I have set of 3 questions:
1) I made a masonry blog page on my website where i am using event plugin from WP. My goal is to show blogs both from posts categories and from event categories, but as these 2 lines are separated i can’ select both of them, only posts or event. Is there any way how can i merge them?
2) Lost password to login in my WP dashboard doesn’ work. See the link – if some of my members with admin access lost their password, this functionality doesn’ work – it shows the same login site. The URL is strange, as it is forwarding them to “users zone” = “clenska zona” in my language, but they can’ access this as they are not logged in.
3) Lastly, i’d like to ask if there is some simple way how can i migrate the main theme to child theme. I have already created chil theme according to the manual, but before i have build the page in the main theme. However i din’t changed any css or functions.php yet, i worked only within enfold theme. Is there a safe way how can i migrate the same settings to the child theme, so i can do the updates and changes correctly?
Thanks for help.

March 18, 2016 at 5:10 am #600068Hey sokitt,
Sorry for the late reply.
1. I’m not sure about this one, I’ll tag some of the other moderators who might have an answer for you.
2. Are you saying that requesting a new password from the login screen is not working? What is happening exactly?
3. You can use the Import/Export function under Enfold–>Import/Export to get your parent settings into your child.
Thanks,
RikardMarch 21, 2016 at 4:00 pm #601299Hi Rikard,

1. that would help me a lot, for the future i want to integrate more taxonomies into blog
2. when you go to https://dokan.sk/wp-login.php , and click on request a new password “zabudli ste heslo? ” in slovak, it just refresh the page… i have no idea where is the problem
3. all right, i’ll try it. I just wasn’t sure about the right process as i found more answers on this topic and was confused

March 22, 2016 at 6:38 am #601696Hi Tomas,
I’m guessing you have some sort of security plugin active or your hosting provide has, because I’m getting this message on the login screen:
Due to protection of web servers from repeated attacks, we were forced to restrict access to administrative interface of web pages to selected countries. If you are currently in a foreign country, please sign in to WebAdmin, proceed to your domain management and disable this GeoIP filter in CMS Support section.
What countries are allowed and not? Moderators are spread out across the world and it would be great if we could all access your site.
Best regards,
RikardMarch 22, 2016 at 4:24 pm #601955Hi!
Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately?

YigitMarch 22, 2016 at 6:15 pm #602051Hi Rikard, Yigit,
i dont have now any security plugin, in the past i had, but i have turned it off, becuase of some functionality issues. I am surprised that it doesnt work for you. If it is the problem on hosting site, i have to ask them.
In the private content you can see login credentials with admin rights.
Thanks for helping me

March 25, 2016 at 9:54 pm #603724Hi!
1.) You would need to hire a freelance developer for this job, as it would require a huge amount of time and customization of the theme. I think to use two masonries as you already do it right now is currently best solution so far.

AndyMarch 28, 2016 at 6:28 pm #603979Hi everybody,
my last issue concers lost password option on wp-admin page.
It redirect somewhere else, but i don’t know why it happens and how to fix it.

March 29, 2016 at 5:30 am #604242Hi!
How can we login to the site? This is probably a .htaccess issue. Please post the code inside the .htaccess file on pastebin.com. Or rename the file temporarily then go to the Settings > Permalink panel to regenerate it.

April 7, 2016 at 3:06 am #609274Hi!
my last issue concers lost password option on wp-admin page.
It redirect somewhere else, but i don’t know why it happens and how to fix it.
Link redirects here: https://dokan.sk/clenska-zona/moj-ucet/lost-password/ – but it is like the page inside the website already.
Where and how can i change it to work properly for this theme? It’s not working because of the “WordPress Access Control” plugin. Once we deactivated the plugin, the Zabudli ste heslo? link redirects to the correct page. However, it is not accessible because of the “Members” plugin. Make sure that the page is public. Please contact the plugin authors for more info.
Cheers!
IsmaelApril 11, 2016 at 2:22 pm #611301Hi Ismael,
thanks for solving this issue, i didn’t realize it can cause a problem, tought it works anyway while plugin is on. I moved that site off the members’s zone and it seems that it’s working.
However, another small trouble came :/
The URL of “lost password” page is https://dokan.sk/moj-ucet/Sokisoki1990-dn/ – that last part is my old password, can i change it somehow? where can i access it?
Finally, when the email come, it only tells me that the password was changed and i have to contact admin, i tought it will generate new password, is it correct? I use also woocmmerce, maybe something with that? Thanks
Tomas
April 12, 2016 at 5:16 am #611625Hi!
That’s strange. It’s probably one of the settings from the plugin. I’m sorry but we’re not familiar with the plugin and we can’t access the dashboard anymore. Please contact the plugin authors regarding the issue.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 14, 2016 at 9:44 am #613631Hi,
