Modify avia-templatebuilder using child theme

I was wondering if you could help me determine how to modify our functions.php file to register a change that I am wanting to make to the following file:

/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/config/meta.php

like with this post http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-new-or-replace-advanced-layout-builder-elements-from-child-theme/ I was hoping to modify my functions.php file to register the files that are in my child theme so that they override the original file in the parent theme.
