I am having issues with YoastSEO and Akismet. They are not allowing Post pages in Enfold to be writable. It has been about a month since the client last blogged, but it was working fine at the end of January. When I turn them off they are fine. I tried Transient Cleaner plugin (found on another thread suggestion) but that did not fix the problem.

The site is running WP 4.4.2 and Enfold version 3.4.7. All plugins are up to date.

    Hi Lynnm

Please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I see what you mean, though I don’t think those plugins are to blame. Please try to deactivate all other plugin and clear the cache from your caching plugin. You can then activate them one by one to which one is the culprit.

    Regards,
    Rikard

I already did that. When all plugins are turned off and only either Akismet or Yoast are turned on, the ability to write or see the content in the Posts gone.

    Hi,

Ok, as far as I know they should be compatible with Enfold, could you please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. If not, do we have permission to deactivate plugins for testing purposes?

    Thanks,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

Found the issue. The layerslider was not working a week or so ago and I enabled the javascript google cdn and put the JS to the body options. That worked to fix the layerslider, but then a week later is when we noticed it broke the ability to add content to posts. Today, I disabled those features and everything works fine. Not sure, why but I’m happy.

I’m not a fan of the Layerslider being built in, by the way, it is ALWAYS giving me problems!

    Thanks for your help.
