Hi – I’m using MailChimp Signup component on my website and I’m trying to do a bunch of testing with my own email. When I submit my email and get the confirmation that it was a success I test a few things, delete my entry in MailChimp list and try again (in incognito Chrome window to make sure I’m not cookied) but I get a notification “This email is already subscribed. Thank you”. So it’s obviously storing that data somewhere on my website since that email is deleted from MailChimp. How can I get around this? Thanks.
March 5, 2016 at 6:35 am #593652Hey crodragon!
“This email is already subscribed. Thank you”
is a response from mailchimp please delete the email from mailchimp account and try again.
Cheers!
Vinay KashyapMarch 5, 2016 at 7:00 am #593665Hi Vinnie – I did delete the email from Mailchimp account but still get the message. If I use MailChimp’s form directly I can submit that same email. I’m using a double opt-in.

April 6, 2016 at 10:58 am #608809Hey!
you have used a caching Plugin, so activate it again, go into plugin’s settings and choose to switch off caching. Then deactivate this and all other plugins. Afterwards clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.

AndyApril 6, 2016 at 6:24 pm #609104Hi Andy,
I just installed the W3 cache plugin yesterday but didn’t activate it and never used any caching on this website.
Had this problem when I had no plugins. I usually test it in different browsers with cache cleared out.Just tried again – deactivated all plugins, cleared our cache.. same problem.
April 7, 2016 at 6:41 pm #609804Any update on this?
Thanks.
April 11, 2016 at 11:46 pm #611584Crodragon, the same thing is happening to us, following to learn a solution. Somewhere, email addresses are being cached (we are NOT using a caching plugin) and it would be great to be able to purge them. Thanks in advance, Enfold folks! :)
April 18, 2016 at 1:17 pm #616414Hi!
Sorry for the delay.
Mailchimp has changed a few things on their end. We would be interested to know what they have to say about this.
We will keep this ticket open so you can update it here and we can work on it further.
Best regards,
VinayApril 19, 2016 at 6:04 pm #617585Not sure if I understand what the next step is here.
Are you asking me to talk to MailChimp support and post their answer here? Or you are saying that you will work with MailChimp and post the updates in this thread?
I think the latter makes way more sense.April 25, 2016 at 10:09 am #621123Hi!
I think this issue is about Mailchimp and not about the theme. But double check if you get the same results or not by using a default WP theme and by using a standard Mailchimp plugin for WP, so we know 100% if this is theme related or not. Please contact Mailchimp support about this issue.

AndyJune 16, 2016 at 2:47 am #648917Hello – I am having this exact same issue.
Is there any progress on fixing this?
Thanks
June 16, 2016 at 2:57 am #648919There’s no progress. As you see above in the last response in April Andy is asking me to contact Mailchimp support which I don’t have time for nor I want to do because I know exactly what they will tell me – “Contact your theme vendor”.
Obviously I’m not the only one using this feature and experiencing the same issue so I hope someone here will take this as an action item.
June 16, 2016 at 3:15 am #648923That is disappointing. Enfold team, do you want me to create a new support thread or continue to tag onto this thread since I am having the same issue?
I just tried setting up Mailchimp for the first time today. The first time I entered the subscription info in the box using the widget, it seemed like it was working, but I never received a confirmation email of my subscription, and that email address never showed up in my Mailchimp mailing list. So I tried again and got the message that I was already subscribed. I then turned “capcha notification” off in Mailchimp settings thinking maybe the capcha was causing an issue, but I kept getting the same message.
I then created a new API key and loaded that into Enfold, thinking that might reset things. Still the same error. The regular Mailchimp URL to add to my mailing list works fine so this is DEFINITELY an issue with Enfold and not Mailchimp…they are not going to provide any support since their forms work fine.
I really want this to work as the theme integration looks great and is critical. Can you guys take another look at this since multiple users are having this exact same issue?
Thanks!!!!
June 20, 2016 at 1:58 pm #650798Hi @goldengate415,
Can you please create us a WordPress administrator account? post it here as a private reply.

JosueJune 20, 2016 at 3:43 pm #650882HI Josue,
After I posted this I remembered that you guys like us to create our own support threads and not tag on to others, so I created one here with admin credentials:https://kriesi.at/support/topic/mailchimp-integration-is-not-working-lets-fix-this/#post-650713
I am happy to provide my resources and time to help solve this problem / bug.
Thanks!
June 20, 2016 at 3:55 pm #650892Hi!
