I am changing a website theme over to Enfold.
The old theme has a tick box in the main page settings to not display the Featured Image (FI) on a post, and this is ticked for all current posts so no images are shown.
Enfold however has its “Don’t display image on single post” tick box as part of the FI box in the right sidebar of Edit Post. The problem is that the FI ‘tick’ on posts from the old theme have not transferred over after switching, and all posts under Enfold now show the box unchecked (the ticks are still somewhere in the database because if I switch back to the old theme, the featured images aren’t displayed). So with Enfold all 4000+ posts are now displaying the Featured Image. (-:
I could probably stop the featured image showing for the whole site via some CSS but if I ever wanted to actually display a featured image in future, I wouldn’t be able to using that method.
It would also be good to have the database consistent in the long term (and I’m not going to edit 4000 posts one by one…) so I’d like to alter the database via phpMyAdmin to set the appropriate flag on existing posts and add the ‘tick’ for “Don’t display image on single post” – can you tell me which SQL table, parameter and appropriate value I need to alter?
Or – maybe – should the Featured Image ‘tick’ have transferred between themes?

I am sorry but that ” transfer ” is not possible with any way, because the options that are registered are different.
Doing that alter would require some advanced customisations that we are not offering from our support policy, you will have to hire someone to do that for you.Regards,
BasilisI understand it’s advanced and I can probably do the database update but I need some help please to know which table and parameter to alter – surely it’s documented somewhere where “Don’t display image on single post” is stored? That’s all I need.

AndyThis problem is not about Enfold theme customisation per se, it’s about which SQL table and column/element Enfold uses to set “Don’t display image on single post” on a post. I was looking for some help to quickly identify this, but as that was not forthcoming I had to spend a day working it out and I have now modified the SQL database myself via phpMyAdmin to fix the problem. :-)
So you can now close this issue.
