I’ve installed Enfold, and some of the icons I use are appearing as Chinese Characters or as small boxes (the character-not-found boxes).
Curiously, the icons display perfectly if I connect to the IP address of the server directly, rather than using DNS. In the wp-config.php file, the site uses the domain name.
The closest solution I’ve found is this one: Enable CORS
But that doesn’t seem to work.
If I try something and it works, I’ll post a confirmation here. Nothing like trawling the web for answers and finding posts like “Nevermind, I fixed it! Thanks!”
I’ve put it in the private content part of this post:
Hey!
Which browser are you using? I checked your website on Safari, Firefox and Chrome and icons show up fine on my end. Screenshot in private content field.
Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh
Cheers!

I’ve done that a few times now (both before and after the suggestion), and I’m still getting the issue.
When I pull up the source, I get the error:
“Font from origin ‘http://52.62.29.13’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘http://www.doctorsaccounts.com.au’ is therefore not allowed access.”
