I’m very new to websites and installed Enfold about a week ago. I’ve been studying how to set the site up using my company information. I’ve made a few minor changes to the site as I’ve been learning. Today I made the decision that I wanted to start all over from the beginning. So, I hit the “reset all options” button. I thought this was a default button that would bring everything back to the way it was when I first installed the theme and would let start over fresh. Now, the site is all messed, and I don’t know how to get it back the way it was. Please help.

Try using this plugin instead:

JosueFebruary 23, 2016 at 8:00 pm #587930Thanks so much for the quick reply, Josue. The server of my website said that they are going to try to restore it. They’re trying to do it right now. If that doesn’t work, I’ll use the plugin. Thanks again for your help.
February 23, 2016 at 8:31 pm #587945They didn’t have any luck restoring the site, so I used the plugin. I activated Enfold as the theme, but it’s not like it was when I first installed it. It doesn’t have the nice setup with all the nice pictures and nice layout. It didn’t give me an option to pick the “construction” theme style like it did before when I first installed it. I’m trying to get it back to the way it was when I first installed Enfold. Do I need to reinstall WordPress, and then start all over again? Thanks for any help.
February 23, 2016 at 8:38 pm #587948Hi!
The reset plugin does reset everything so you’d need to import a demo again (from Enfold theme options), are you able to do that or do you encounter an error?

JosueFebruary 23, 2016 at 9:23 pm #587976Thanks! I didn’t remember how I got the demo the first time. My brain is overloaded right now dealing with this website. I previously had an SSL certificate for my site. I guess I have to do redo all of that, right? I was also registered with the google search engine. Do I need to redo that also?
February 23, 2016 at 9:58 pm #587990Hm, no i don’t think you’d need to re-do that as those are handled outside of WordPress. The plugin resets WordPress, not your domain or anything associated with it.
