Layer slider problem

Hey!

I’m very sorry for the delay. Which of the three sliders are not working? I checked the home page but there is only one slide in the layer slider. Please refrain from answering your own thread because it will push it back at the end of the queue and we won’t be able to answer it immediately. Thank you for your understanding.

I just checked the layerslider and something weird is going on here. The existing layers do not seem to store any information at the “transition” tab.
Whenever you enter anything there and press “save” the layerslider plugin tells us its saved, but if you reload the page the changes are gone. I am afraid I cant tell how this is/was caused. Maybe a problem after importing the default slides, maybe something that was done during customization…

However, what worked fine for me, was to create a new layer (you can see it in the slider “Enfold – most beautiful theme ever” – Slide #2, with the name “this is a fresh test layer”), and then apply all the necessary styles to that layer. I was then also able to store transition data and it displays/works fine.

So what I would recommend for now is to remove the layers that do not work and create completely new ones. Since the layerslider is a 3rd party plugin, bundled with the theme I can only ask the creator of the plugin if he knows about the issue and ask him if there is a better way to fix this, but right now this seems to be the solution you can use without having to wait any longer.

Once the Layerslider creator has issued an update for the bug we can include that into enfold as well.
I hope this solution is sufficient for now.
