Hi :
We noticed an issue with widgets not showing up in the sidebar area on any woocommerce product category pages.
But widget shows up in other widget positions such as the widget labeled “MDTF widget showing in footer – column3” at the included URL in the sample woocommerce “packing-materials-xpk” product category.Thanks.
February 4, 2016 at 12:33 pm #577727Hey ruskas1990!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Where did you add the widgets? Try to add the widgets in the Shop Overview Page widget area.
Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 4, 2016 at 4:39 pm #577844This remains a big issue/bug for us.
We are trying to add the widget the same way a user is supposed to add any other widget in WP/woocommerce.
We purchased the Enfold theme because it was advertised to have woocommerce support.
This is obviously not a new issue for Enfold/kriesi.at because other users have complained about a similar issue in your forum. For example:
i) https://kriesi.at/support/topic/woocommerce-category-widget-not-working-in-shop-sidebar/
ii) https://kriesi.at/support/search/woocommerce+product-category/?avia_filter_search=yes&avia_search_forums=all&avia_search_dates=all&avia_search_include=no
Kindly help properly investigate this issue and provide a proper technical response and solution or help escalate this issue.
Thanks and Regards.
February 8, 2016 at 1:02 pm #579552Hi!
would be good if you ask WooCommerce Support as well, so both support teams can assist you and WC Support knows their plugin best.
I tried to open the link you have provided, but it does not load for me. Can you check please?
Did you try the solution provided here?

AndyFebruary 8, 2016 at 5:52 pm #579786Please try the link again. It seems fine.
The widget in question works in the desired location for other themes that we tried. And so this does not appear to be a woo-commerce issue at all.

Please help research this issue and provide a proper solution. We went with Enfold because of its claimed woo-commerce support. No being able to display a simple widget in a the sidebar location within a woocommerce page is really disappointing.
Below is the URL to a working theme and working site doing exactly what we are trying to replicate with the Enfold theme. The widget is titled “Product Search” in the right sidebar area.
Thanks.February 12, 2016 at 9:09 am #582108Hi!
Please post the login details here so that we can check the dashboard. The product category sidebar on our installation displays the specified widgets so its probably a plugin or a custom modification on your site.

Thanks.February 15, 2016 at 5:42 pm #583624Hey!
please deactivate all plugins but WooCommerce by WooThemes, to check which one is causing this issue and let us know about your results.
Best regards,
