I’m having trouble adding a custom sort order to the dropdown on my main product page. I understand that the Enfold theme over rides a lot of the default WooCommerce functionality, and need some direction on how to add a new Attribute based sort order.
Basically, I’m using WooCommerce in Enfold to display a collection of fine art pieces. I need to be able to sort these pieces of art by either title (which is no problem, since this is part of the default Sort by options) or by artist. I can setup artist as a custom Attribute, but don’t understand how I can add a new sort by option to the dropdown on my product page.
I have added a link to the page in the Private Content section. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

You can add the Woocommerce widgets to your sidebar to filter your products. For sorting that is pretty complex and would have to be considered custom work. Perhaps a plugin / extension would help. I did a quick search and found this, http://codecanyon.net/item/sorting-woocommerce-pro/5771321.

Thanks for the information. I have already attempted to add the filter widget and use the artist Attribute I have setup. However, when I add the widget to my page nothing displays. Can you look at that? I have included an admin login for you in the private content area.
Also, I did find that plugin you mention (which I thought would work great), but it looks like it’s only compatible with WooCommerce up to version 2.3 and we’re running the latest version 2.5
Looking forward to hearing back, and hopefully we can get the filter widget working.

The filters will only work for the base shop page ( Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display). We set the “Fine Arts” as base shop page and moved the filter widget in the Shop Overview Page widget area. You will see the filter in the sidebar now.
Cheers!
