    I’m trying to add a full width colour section with text & a button underneath or just overlapping my Homepage full width slider (like the yellow one on the Homepage of the Enfold Construction Demo), using Avia Layout builder. However the full width colour section won’t display – instead it just creates whitespace or shows as a thin line with whitespace underneath. I’ve also tried using other elements to achieve the same result : single column with background colour, single grid row etc but they will also not display. At the moment I’m using the Promo Box as a substitute but it’s not full width & looks too narrow.

    Hey Haycreations!

    It looks fine on my end. I noticed on larger screens it does not go the full width because the images your using are 1500px wide. You can use this CSS to make sure they go fullwidth.

    .avia-fullwidth-slider img {
        width: 100% !important;
    }

    Though if they look blurry it would be best to increase the image size your using.

    Hi Elliot

    Thanks for your reply. Not sure what to make of that then as it’s still not displaying properly for me when I add that element to the Homepage. Interestingly when I tried adding a colour section element to a brand new page it worked. Does that mean there’s a code conflict somewhere on the Homepage?

    Hey!

    I added a color section right below the slider and it works as expected. Please remove it after checking: http://melaniehay.com.au/wp-admin/post.php?post=7877&action=edit

    Hi Ismael,
    I’ve got no idea why or how, but since you’ve added this element, it’s now all working on my end too (& yes I had tried the settings you used & cleared the cache etc ). Go figure!

    Thank you very much :)

    By the way the bright pink was an interesting colour choice!
