I have a problem with data in the posts and pages. I need to change thousands of examples of small items, so I want to change them via the wp_posts table directly, using MySQL REPLACE(). No problem there.

However, when I make a change to the content of the post_content field in wp_posts, then the change does not appear on the visitors page, nor in the Dashboard.

However, the changes appear on the visitors pages if I change the theme to the standard 2015 theme. Then disappear as I change back to Enfold theme.

Making changes with Dashboard updates wp_posts.post_content – so I know that I am looking at the correct database!

This is something that I have done on other WordPress sites / themes without a problem.

This happens both on the live site, and on a test site on Wamp on my local machine.

So, the question is, if I change a page in Dashboard, does Enfold use another part of the database as well as wp_posts.post_content to store the changes?

    Hi RTLindsay!

Are you using the layout builder on the posts? It might be saved in another area in that case.

    Cheers!
