    Hi!
    Where can I post questions to the ENFOLD support? I bought the theme and have many questions but I can only find a link where I can search for posts of other users even if I am loged in. Could you please send me the right link? Thx.

    Okay, thx. I got my password now but where can I post my questions after this topic ist closed?

    1.
    Upload of pictures in the library doesn’t work.
    I get the following message:
    portrait.jpg The directory wp-content / uploads / 2016/01 can not be created. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
    (portrait.jpg Das Verzeichnis wp-content/uploads/2016/01 kann nicht angelegt werden. Ist das übergeordnete Verzeichnis durch den Server beschreibbar?

    2.
    Instead of “home” there still stands “Startseite” in the navigation. How can I rename “Startseite” in home?

    Hey!

    1.) The wp-content or the root directory is not writable. Please ask your hosting provider to correct the file permissions in the server. Or refer to this link for WP permission schemes: https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

    2.) Go to the Settings > Menu panel then create a new menu. Set this menu as the Enfold Main Menu under Theme Locations. https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide

    Hi Ismael,

    point 1 works! There was missing the uploads-folder in the wp. I don’t know what was going wrong but now I can upload the pics.

    But I don’t understand point 2. Why should I create a new menue?

    Some more questions:
    1) I often have the problem that I can’t find certain pages to create a menue even if I set “show all pages” (the pages are not displayed when they are not set to “public”) . How can I solve this problem when I don’t want to set it public yet?
    2) In the german version the homepage (start page) appears as “startseite” even if I set the name “home”. How can I rename it? First page should be “home”!
    3) I need to have different menues on different pages respectively in the sidebar. How can I manage this?

    Hey!

    1- You can copy the URL of your page and then go to Appearance > Menus and add it to your menu as a new Custom Link
    Old and new 2- Please go to Appearance > Menus and then create your menu and then check “Enfold main menu” under Menu settings – http://i.imgur.com/EbUtgDX.png
    3- If you would like to display different main menu per page, please use this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/zen-menu-logic/ and if you would like to display different pages in your widget, please use this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/

    Hey Yigit,

    thanks for the explanation but I don’t want to display different main menu per page but define different sidebar-menues. Main menue with submenue and in the submenue I have different pages and on the different pages shoud appear different sidebar-menues. But how can I define these different sidebar-menues?

    Hey!

    Please go to Appearance > Widgets and remove default widgets from “displayed everywhere” widget area and create a new widget and add the widgets you would like to display in it. Then edit your page and choose to display that sidebar under Layout section

    hey!
    i defined an individual menue for the sidebar but don’t know how to integrate it in the sidebar on the page. but i can’t chose that menue to display at sidebar. is it possible to send you a screenshot? could you help?

    Hi,

    Could you try Custom Meny widget under Appearance–>Widgets? You can upload screenshots to a service like imgur.com for instance and then link to them here.
