Hello,
I am having issues with the Layerslider in the admin.
1. Preview is not working when I edit a slider. It does work if I create a brand new slider. But if I go in to edit that brand new slider again it does not work.
2. When I go in to edit a new slider I’ve created the original styles are cleared. The content stays, some of the transitions and styles stay, but most of them are removed so I need to re enter all the styling again. And then I can’t see my edits because the preview is not working.I’ve manually re-installed the latest version of Enfold, I have deactivated all my third party plugins, installed jQuery updater. I am at a loss why it is not working!
Thanks,

January 20, 2016 at 8:29 am #568430Hi,
You are getting a 404 not found error on this file: http://www.faberconstruction.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/%20codemirror/lib/codemirror.js?ver=5.6.2
You could try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Thanks,
RikardJanuary 20, 2016 at 7:49 pm #568845I have overwritten the theme files with fresh ones and still no luck. I found the error, there is that space after /static/ codemirror/etc, so fixed that in the scripts.php file, but am still having the same results as before.
January 22, 2016 at 1:31 pm #570000Hi!
we notified Kriesi about this issue already. Let’s hope he can find a fix for it soon. Thanks for being patient. If we can provide you some css code in Quick CSS field as a temporary workaround please let us know.
Cheers!
AndyJanuary 26, 2016 at 6:49 pm #572271Ok thanks Andy – fingers crossed they find a fix! :)
January 28, 2016 at 4:45 am #573469Hi,

Thanks for any helpFebruary 5, 2016 at 6:10 pm #578645Hello guys,

February 9, 2016 at 10:13 pm #580615@dondela
Show us a link with the elements in question and tell/show us exactly which result you want to achieve. Then we can try to provide you some CSS code for Quick CSS field as a workaround.
@felipepavao
No we don’t.Cheers!
AndyFebruary 9, 2016 at 11:31 pm #580642So, what do you suggest to tell to my clients? Waiting for Enfolds news and just it?
February 10, 2016 at 2:09 pm #581125There is a message in the layerslider admin that there is a new version 5.6.3. Does this update solve the problem maybe? I have version 5.6.2. installled.
February 14, 2016 at 9:09 am #582887Hi!
@jofaber: Sorry for the delay. I’m trying to login to the site but the login credentials above are not working. Please check.
@dondela: The layer slider is included in the theme by default. We always include the latest version once it is deem stable.
@felipepavao: We are very for the inconvenience that this issue may have caused you. If possible, please create another thread with the login credentials then we’ll check the issue there. Make sure that you have the latest version of the theme.Cheers!

February 18, 2016 at 7:19 am #585204Hi!
@jofaber: The problem is that you don’t have the latest version of WP. Please upgrade to version 4.4.2.Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 22, 2016 at 6:12 pm #587350I’m pretty sure I was running the latest version of WordPress. I’ve reinstalled the latest version again, and still encountering the same problem.
February 25, 2016 at 10:10 am #588845Hi!
I created a test slider and the changes are being saved. http://www.faberconstruction.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=layerslider&action=edit&id=12
Please remove browser cache or hard refresh the page. Note that the preview is working on the test page and I edited it more than once.

IsmaelFebruary 29, 2016 at 7:00 pm #591025Hi Ismael,
Argh, I’m going to go batty!
I’ve done all of the above but still getting the exact same problem. Preview not working and changes not being saved under Styles – Padding, Fonts, Background, etc, and in Transitions as well under Delay for example.I am getting these javascript errors – could that by my issue and how would I fix??
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘width’ of null ls-admin-slider-builder.js?ver=5.6.2:2210
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘length’ of null load-scripts.php?c=0&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,plupload&ver=4.4.2:2Starting to feel like a dimwit, lol, but I know everything is updated, my cache has been cleared and page refreshed a million times.
March 2, 2016 at 11:15 am #592011Hey!
I checked the test slider again and the preview is not working anymore. I get the same errors listed above. Please get a fresh copy of the WordPress files then override the existing installation.
Regards,
IsmaelMarch 2, 2016 at 9:04 pm #592295I’ve done a fresh install of WordPress 4.4.2, and the latest Enfold theme again, but still no change. :(
March 7, 2016 at 11:39 am #594213Hi!
Are you sure that you didn’t do any modifications to the theme? Please post the FTP details here. We would like to debug the issue.
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 7, 2016 at 6:14 pm #594502I’m very sure! I’ve created a child theme so I didn’t touch any of the original theme files for that reason :)
Anyway here are the FTP details.
Thanks for looking into this!March 14, 2016 at 4:02 pm #597812Hi!
are we allowed to deactivate all your plugins for testing purposes? As we already said above: We are aware of issues with layerslider and Kriesi is going to release the new Enfold version (v3.5) soon. Thanks for being patient.
Cheers!
AndyMarch 14, 2016 at 5:27 pm #597879Yes you may!
