Good day. For my portfolio items, I am using a mix of photo galleries and videos. On the page where I add the Masonry Portfolio layout option, I would like an icon of a camera or an icon of a movie to display on the portfolio item showing the user if the portfolio item is photo gallery or a video.
I know you have icons to do this and the shortcode to insert the icon on a page. However it looks like the Masonry Portfolio layout option pulls in the preview text from the excerpt entered on the portfolio item page. Is there a way to get icons to display either on all the portfolio items on the main portfolio page where I chose the Masonry Portfolio layout option? Or if not is the best option to insert your shortcode for the icon in the actual except (and if so how?)

Sorry this is not a theme limitation but WordPress by default does not allow any html or shortcode to work in excerpts.
However there is a work around you can try please check https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-enable-shortcodes-in-excerpts
We have not tested the above with enfold nor do we support it. I personally hope that helps :)
