January 12, 2016 at 4:59 pm #564013Hi Enffie!
– Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Enfold which is currently 3.4.7 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
– Please try to increase the allocated memory to 128M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
You can contact your service provider and they can do it for you.
– Please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps. If neither helps, we are going to need to activate Enfold to troubleshoot the issue. Do we have your permission to do that for testing purposes?
Cheers!
YigitJanuary 13, 2016 at 5:50 am #564340Hello Yigit:
Thank you so much!
The issue is fixed!
I updated the latest version with via FTP. I don’t know if this step makes it work, because I have updated several times these two days.
And then I contacted my hosting service to increase the allocated memory to 128M. Finally the theme can be actived! Maybe the two steps is both important to this issue.
Anyway, the issue is fixed now. I am very happy! But I wonder if any effect to the site speed by increasing the allocated memory? Will it be any other effects on this?Thank you!
EnffieJanuary 13, 2016 at 6:55 am #564371Hello,
I also found a question. I have some layout CSS code edit in the enfold>layout.css and shotcode.css, everytime I updated the theme, I need to re-edit these two css code. And I found it is no use to add the code in the stylesheet.css or Quick CSS instead. Why? And how could I do to ensure the codes are working after updating?

January 13, 2016 at 9:02 pm #565020Hi!
Increasing the memory on the server by your hosting company will partially help your site performance on the frontend.
If you like to add the css and customize please add it to Enfold > General Settings > Quick CSS
However if you have a lot of customization to do you can also use a child theme.
