    Hi, I would like to add the code <?php echo date('Y'); ?> to the copyright in order to have the year updated automatically. Kindly advise where exactly to place this.

    Hi knoche9343!

    Please add following code to Functions.php file in Appearance > Editor

    function year_shortcode() {
	$year = date('Y');
	return $year;
}
add_shortcode('year', 'year_shortcode');

    then add following shortcode in Enfold theme options > Footer > Copyright field

    [year]
