    Hi,

    i need some help with design of a website. I have a website made by a designer ( http://hmnf2.ify-server.net/ ) but i’m thinking of rebuilding it with Enfold. This will give me much more flexibility and a stable base to build.

    is this possible and who can help me with this / give me directions?

    My first question is, how can i create a header like on http://hmnf2.ify-server.net/ ? (with the menu on the upper left, the logo on the left and the curl on the right)

    Hey JosBlo,

    You will need some customisation to achieve that with Enfold, the amount of work depends on how similar you want your new site to look like the old one. My recommendation though would be to go through the different demos we have: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-overview/. You might like something there better than your old design, it will save you a lot of headaches and time.

    Hi Rikard,

    thank you for you quick reply! But the design has a purpose (to create a mood/feeling) and we want to keep it this way. I know what Enfold is capable of (i have made three websites with it) and i’m convinced of the power of this template. But i also realize that this design is difficult to ‘copy’ to Enfold, that’s why i asked.

    If it causes to much headaches, maybe i shouldn’t try it. If someone can do it for me, please contact me to see if we can work something out.

    Hey Jos!

    You could try adding widget area to your header – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-a-widget-area-to-the-header/ and then add the image in there and adjust its position using custom CSS.

    Hi,

    If it’s only for development purposes it’s ok, but please get another licence once you are finished to be able to get automatic updates etc.
