    hi is there a way to set a default background color of a 4-column / 3-column / 2-column portfolio; that is the image placeholder only?

    Hey eisme,

    Not sure I understand what you mean, could you explain a bit further please? Link to your site as well so that we can have a look.

    Best regards,

    hi,

    our website is below.

    you will see that the images has a grey background which i did in photoshop/illustrator. what im looking at is uploading images with transparent background and if possible set a default background for the image placeholder; i.e. either grey or black or yellow which ever i prefer.

    Hey!

    I’m sorry but I don’t understand what you’re trying to do here. Are you trying to remove the grey background? Could you please provide a link to the original png image? A screenshot of what you’re trying to accomplish will help.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

    the grey background is part of the image.

    please visit the site and look out for the portfolio labelled Gasmet DX4040; now this is a png image (transparent background); as you would see the background now is white (since the image if png with transparent backgroun) – my question is how to change the default color of the background of the portfolio item – since im using png with transparent background image.

    i hope i explained correctly.

    Hey!

    not sure what you want to achieve. Maybe it’s this:

    a.grid-image.avia-hover-fx {
    background: red;
    }

    If not provide us a mockup showing the result you want to achieve please (imgur.com, dropbox).

    Cheers!
    Andy
