    Hi there,

    I have a number of portfolio items, but when I try to go to the link of two of them, these bring me to the wrong item.

    Check out on my website (temporary) http://www.guest.simplychillout.com

    From the page “All rental properties”:
    – Select Villa Lentischi -> goes to Villa Ginestra
    – Select Villa Lory > goes to Villa Ginestra

    My permalinks are set correctly. I changed them and updated them, but it’s still not working. All the other properties link correctly.

    I am using WPML and only the english version is affected. I deactivated all the WPML plugins, but the problems is still the same. I am using a Child setup and updated to your latest version.

    Hey psarais!

    They are linking fine for me. Did you get this sorted?

    If your still having trouble then take a screenshot and highlight what your seeing so we can get a better idea. Be sure to clear your browser cache and view in a different browser as wlel.

    I cannot send you any screenshots, as the problem is the link from the main menu…

    Again, my problem is:
    For example if I choose the menu item Villa Lentischi, I am sent to http://www.guest.simplychillout.com/property/villetta-ginestra/
    instead of http://www.guest.simplychillout.com/property/villa-lentischi …

    The same occurs if I choose the item Villa Lory, as I am sent to http://www.guest.simplychillout.com/property/villetta-ginestra/
    instead of http://www.guest.simplychillout.com/property/villa-lory/

    All other links seem to be working fine. Please check again the link address!! Thanks!
    Note: I tried to rename both permalinks to …. villa-lentischi-new and …villa-lory-new respectively and this worked fine!!! But I don’t want to rename them!!! Tried on several browsers and cleared the cache – didn’t help!

    do you have the same issue when activating a default WordPress theme? please let us know about your results.

    Hi, I changed to a standard WP theme, but I cannot include the portfolios in the menu.
    My property pages are defined as portfolios. Do you think this might be the issue?

    Hey!

    It is not an issue with the menu as i see at the bottom of the browser that the link i correct when you hover the menu item. When you click on the item it is re-directing you to a different portfolio item this could be because you might have cloned the portfolio items or for some reason it share the same URL.

    Solution : Open the portfolio item which has this issue and change the permalink url as shown in the image below.

    Hi,

    Yes, I know that (see my previous message). The thing is that I don’t what to rename my link, as they have a specific structure. Is there another way for removing/overwriting the duplicate URL? Please help, I am not a hardcore developer … Thanks!

    Hi!

    Sorry but every name has to be different if you have same names it wont work. You can check the URL for each item i am sure during cloning some URL’s have been left to be same hence this issue. You have to manually change the permalinks in the portfolio item page.

    Hi,

    Obviously URL cannot be duplicate …. the fact is that I don’t see any other URL with the same name, so the problem is another one. Sorry to say that your replies haven’t really helped me any further.

    For now, I have solved the issue in a different way.
