Hello,
I have noticed that the “Save” button doesn’t work on duplicate sliders. It just freezes and doesn’t save any changes.
However, it works fine with new sliders.I have deactivated my plugins, logged out and in again and cleared the caches a few times but I still have the same issue.
Can you please advise?Thank you in advance.
CharlotteDecember 30, 2015 at 8:07 am #558374Hello,
I have noticed another issue: the slider doesn’t show in preview mode for draft pages.
This new page I am working on is a duplicated page from a previous publication. However, if I publish the page, the slideshow is showing.
Looking forward to your help. Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
CharlotteJanuary 2, 2016 at 1:50 am #558838Hey!
It seems to be working fine on my end. Can you send us a WordPress login so we can take a look?
What happens when you create a completely new slider and then try duplicating it and saving?

ElliottJanuary 4, 2016 at 6:37 am #559031Hi Elliott,
Thanks for your feedback.
When I create a new slider, I can save fine.
I’ve also noticed that the content was not showing on draft pages of duplicated pages. Maybe the issue is about duplicate content in general then?
Please see below a WP login for you to have a look. If you go in the LayerSlider WP section, you will see at the top of the list 2 new sliders:
– one duplicated from an old slider: “Amadeus Spring Cruise – Select Voyages copy”
– one duplicated from a new slider: “TEST”
The “TEST” slider duplicated from a new one is saving fine but I can’t amend the “Amadeus Spring Cruise – Select Voyages copy” slider.Thank you!
CharlotteJanuary 4, 2016 at 9:06 pm #559468Hey!
there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/
Cheers!
AndyJanuary 5, 2016 at 6:38 pm #560082Hi all,
Unfortunately I have the same problems. To be sure I have installed a fresh copy via http://ftp.Is there already a known cause?
Please advise
Cheers
PeterJanuary 6, 2016 at 1:56 am #560209Hi Andy.
I have followed your advice and replaced the Enfold folder via FTP. However, I still have the issue with the LayerSliderWP duplicated sliders…
Thanks,
CharlotteJanuary 7, 2016 at 10:26 am #561091Hi!
I just created a copy of the slider name “Enfold the most beautiful theme” and edited the text to “Testing save button” and had no problem saving it.
The preview too worked fine.
I suggest you try creating a new slide from scratch and try to duplicate it. may the old one which you are trying is corrupted. Also it is possible you are using a browser that is not supporting javascript so try this in a new browser or download the latest version of google chrome and try it out.
Cheers!
VinayJanuary 8, 2016 at 12:32 am #561662Hi Vinay,
Thanks for looking into it.
I also have the latest version of Chrome so it’s must be corrupted files in this layerslider.Kind regards,
CharlotteJanuary 11, 2016 at 9:15 am #562993Hi!
I was able to create new slide, duplicate it and preview it without any issue on your site as you might have already seen the test slider that is present in the slider list. I am suspecting that your browser has some javascript that is conflicting with the slider have you tried a different browser?

VinayJanuary 12, 2016 at 12:16 am #563575Hi Vinay,
Yes I have tried in Microsoft Edge browser as well but I have the same issue with the slider I was originally trying to duplicate.
However it does indeed work when using the “Enfold – most beautiful theme ever” layerslider. Thanks,
