    Hello
    We are not programmers but we are used to maintaining our wordpress sites. We need to redo our site which is temporarily see below
    We saw your theme on this site which we really like: see below
    which would be the best demo to start from to populate the site to get that look?
    thanks

    Hey Marcella!

    None of the demos pop into my mind when I see the site your trying to recreate. I would just install Enfold and start from there. It’s very to build your pages with out advanced layout editor.

    You can watch the “intro to advanced layout editor” video here, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/videos/.

    Regards,
    Elliott

    Thanks Elliott! As we are not programmers (we are just used to maintaining and putting data in our sites) would it be better to ask codeable to do the initial design for us? Is it a popular service? Or is it better to wait until we get stuck?

    Hi!

    That would work, although i’d suggest you try yourselves (if you are willing to) as the site doesn’t seem too complicated to replicate.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

    I am starting to use the enfold theme and I have some doubts:

    – Is it possible to put text above of a full screen slider in the front page?
    – Our website is about some villas and I need to create one page for each house. Is it better to use a portfolio, a page or a post ?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi!

    – You can place text on a Caption – http://screencast.com/t/q2HLXN8E
    – If you need that content to be categorized i’d suggest Portfolio Items as you would have more options to list them (Portfolio, Masonry, etc).

    Best regards,
    Josue

    Dear Josue,

    Thank you for your reply!

    I have some more questions:

    – How can I put a colored frame in an image or text?

    – How can I put the transparency of my menu/sidebar darker?

    – Is it possible to get more icons (hotel icons such as bed, etc) ?

    I don’t know how to put a frame when I am working with advanced layout builder. For example, I want my guests can book a car directly on my website, instead of opening a new page for auto europe, so I need to have a frame of their website. Is it clear? Can you help me with this? I know how to do this in default editor, but I prefer to use the other method.
    Is it possible to use both simultaneously? I couldn’t do that. Please let me know if it works.

    Thank you so much!

    Kind regards,

    Andie

    Hi!

    1. It depends on the element you’re using, can you point which exact image you want to modify?
    2. Can you post a screenshot/mockup of what would you want to achieve?
    3. You can get new icon fonts from this site and then import them to Enfold.
    4. You can use a Text Block, it will resemble the default editor.

    Regards,
    Josue

    Dear Josue,

    Thank you for your reply.

    1. I would like to a put a frame in the image and a rectangle around the image and text. See an example in this website: http://cortijolahoya.com/, Casa Luna has a rectangle around the image and text.
    2. As you can see in http://new2.moradasol.com/, the words in the menu and the numbers are really bright, we cannot read. Is it possible to put it in evidence? I thought we could put the menu darker, it would be easier to see the letters.
    Let me know the options.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Kind regards,

    Dear Josue,

    More questions…

    1. How can I delete the first title (Lisbon Coast, you are here,home) on the following page (http://new2.moradasol.com/lisbon-coast/)?
    2. I am trying to use a section background image in a color section, but every time I tried to put a photo, the quality is awful. The photo is high definition, so I do not understand.
    3. If you scroll down, I put a grid with 3 different sections and 3 different easy sliders inside. I chose the same slideshow image size for the 3 pictures, however, they are not equal. How can I put the same size in all? I had the same problem here – http://new2.moradasol.com/.

    Many thanks!!

    Hey!

    Please use different tickets for different questions.

    1.) On your example page it is achieved by this code:

    .page-id-28 .avia-builder-el-3 {
    padding: 20px;
    background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
    }

    But as you did not show us exactly where you want to implement this effect on your site, we can’t provide you a specific code in your case.

    2.) Go to Enfold->Advanced Styling and choose “Main menu link” to customize them.

    Best regards,
    Andy
