Hello!
I’m trying to change the background color of a link from a custom menu I created and inserted into a widget. I want the page the user is on to be more obvious. How can I achieve this? Here’s a screen shot:

Thanks!
Hi nvictory!
Please do provide us a link of the web site, to help us target the specific widget, with some CSS!
Thanks a lot
Best regards,
Basilis
Thanks for the quick response! I’ve provided a link to one of the pages that contain the widget menus. There are several menu set ups like this throughout the site.
Hey!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.main_color .widget_nav_menu ul:first-child>.current-menu-item {
background-color: aliceblue;
}
Please make sure that > sign is not converted to – http://i.imgur.com/IDXRZQ3.png in Quick CSS field.
Best regards,

Hi Yigit!
Thanks for this, but unfortunately it didn’t work. Any other suggestions? Right now the menu items have a really light gray color behind them when selected. Is there any way I can make that color darker or more noticeable? I just want the user to be able to know what page they’re on.
Thanks!
Hi!
Code should have worked. Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately?

Sure! Login info is listed in private content
Hi!
I moved the code to top of Quick CSS field and it worked. There were so many CSS errors in your custom code and i tried to fix all that i can see but seems like there are more. Please look into it :)
Cheers!

Thank so much! Looks great. I’ll look into the CSS errors. :)
