Hi Kriesi team,
Just found out that the nodal window doesn’t work when you click YT links on a Mac (any browser) – the link instead takes you to the YT page – which isn’t great… The popup works perfectly on a PC.

(Click the side bar video).
Do I need to change the code attached to it?
Secondly – that same sidebar quite often doesn’t render properly on a Mac – Safari – any ideas? (see screenshot http://screenpresso.com/=KkgCg)
Many thanks,
Mark
Hi copemanm!
I am on Mac as well and it looks good to me (not like in your screenshot). Make sure to use newest browser version. Which OSX version are you using exactly?
Try to deactivate all plugins, to check if one is causing this issue and let us know about your results. If that does not help send us admin access, so we can take a deeper look into it. Are we allowed to deactivate all your plugins temporarily by ourselves as well for testing purposes?
Regards,
Andy
Hi Andy – all uptodate: 10.11.1
Less worried about the screenshot – that does only happen randomly – on a couple of different macs too – not just one though – maybe click around into a blog post then go back to the blog home page?
Can you confirm the youtube click takes you to the YT page, not a popup? Would you expect that? Could that be a plugin issue?
Thanks,
Mark
Hi!
I’m on Windows 8, checking on chrome and the link opens a popup but then redirects to the youtube page. It’s a possible conflict with a third party plugin, specifically the colorbox. Please disable all plugins then test it again.
Regards,
Ismael
You are right – believe it or not – The WP Google Analytics plugin causes this problem – it’s now been replaced!
Thanks as ever.
Mark
