    Hello,

    I have a quite specific problem to solve.

    Every time I try to update the theme, I get the following message : An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. couldn’t connect to host.

    We identified the problem. We have a firewall that does not let me access the download server for ENFOLD. And as donwload servers are changing every single time, we cannot set up a rule giving the access to a specific server. My admin refuses to authorize all downloads from the AMAZON server used for the upload.

    How can I access ENFOLD’s updates without connecting to the amazonaws.com servers ?

    Do you have it availble in a ZIP file ? How can it be installed ? Is it safe for custom CSS ?

    Hey!

    You will need to update via FTP then. Please see here, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/.
