So I’ve gotten a few videos that I’m trying to add to header video backgrounds. I’ve been able to add the videos, but they’re still very pixelated and zoomed in. I’ve uploaded the videos to both YouTube and Vimeo. I’m using Adobe Premier Pro CC and using optimal settings for output, so no problems there. Right now, I’m using Vimeo as a video CDN. The video looks fine from Vimeo, but it zooms in on the actual page (note I haven’t changed any CSS or default settings, it just zooms in). How do I get this to both stop pixelating (as it’s not pixelated on Vimeo) and stop zooming in to show only the very center/middle of the video. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi TurkReno!
May we have a link to your website so we can take a closer look?

Page in question is on the private link which goes to our development server.
And here’s the link to the video on Vimeo. If I compare HD to SD on Vimeo, it looks like Enfold is displaying the SD version…
Hey!
The video background looks clear on my end:
It may be a caching issue. Please clear your web/browser cache and test viewing the site on a different computer/device.
Best regards,
Dake
No, you’re seeing it right. I’ve already moved the file to a direct link on Amazon and what you just sent is a picture of the video on Amazon, so it’s not a caching issue. For sure it’s a “you must pay us money” issue for Vimeo.
Hi,
I’m not sure what you mean by your last post, do you know what the issue is and do you have a way of solving it?
Thanks,
Rikard
The issue is solved. The issue is that Vimeo displays video as SD unless you’re a Pro member or better. I’m hosting the videos on my own CDN and they display as they should.
