Hi!
My blog page consists of two blog-elements, separated by a color section. When I click to the next blog page, the top element (4 posts) remains unchanged. I would need it to update. Any idea how to do this?
I could use “Conditionally display” to hide the element, but then my color section will move up, next to the header, which I want to avoid.

That’s weird. Send us a WordPress login and we’ll take a look.

Not sure what’s going on there. I created a new page, “Test2”, and setup two blog grids with offsets but the pagination is working fine. It’s just not wanting to work on that page for some reason. Perhaps it has something to do with it being set as the homepage. What happens when you try to set Test2 as the homepage?

I will look into that, thank you. Can you just let me know if you updated something regarding blog image sizes? I noticed that my plugin for image regeneration was turned off, and i don’t really understand how. Now, when I upload new blog images, they’re cut at the bottom. But maybe it’s just a bug?
(Edit: I’ve just noticed that, when going from page 1 to 2 (or any page), nothing changes at all. Previously, the bottom blog element would update, but it does no longer. Any idea?)

November 29, 2015 at 12:28 pm #544130Hi Elliott,
I looked into the problem again. Having the blog set as homepage should not be the problem, since that is an option within Enfold.
What I do realize is that, having two (or more?) blog elements with pagination, doesn’t work. In other words, when you go to the next page, only one part updates, or nothing at all. Is that normal?
If yes, the question is then: How to have a blog page with alternate content? For example in my case I want to have a color section in between, or an advertisement, etc?

PoirotNovember 29, 2015 at 12:40 pm #544132So far, I can conclude this:
1) If both blog elements have pagination, they will update separately.
2) If only one blog element has pagination, it will update, but the other will remain static. So, my question as above is: how to have a blog page with alternate content (color sections, ads, etc) , where the entire blog page updates as one element?

That is something really hard to be achived, as actually it is like braking the WordPress loop to part.
Everything is possible, but that would need a lot of work to be done. You can contact one of our Customization Contractors, who will help you out with the process.

Thank you for your suggestion. I may be close to a solution, though:
I have two blog elements, separated by a color section. When you navigate to page 2 of my blog, the top blog and color section are removed, and only the bottom blog element is displayed. The problem is that the post do not update, when you browse pages. Any idea what the problem is?

this is expected behavior as you switch to a blog page only when opening page 2, 3, etc. of your blog. Your homepage do not get displayed on those pages.
