    Hi.
    When using a custom link in the main menu area – how can I make it open in a new tab?

    the default open in same tab and I have a link to a 3rd party site in one of the drop down options…

    Hi MindSpark!

    Please go to Appearance > Menus and click “Screen options” on the top right and check “Link target” and then edit your menu items and choose to open them in new window under link target

    Hi, about this topic “Please go to Appearance> Menus and click” Screen options “on the top right and check” Link target “and then edit your menu items” with the version 4.2 is no longer possible to perform this action as a result the link target tool is completely useless, how can I open the custom menu item in a new tab?

    Sorry, I saw now that in “screen settings” in the menu page was not preselected the tick “destination link”, I proceeded to activate it and everything is ok, it was usually preselected for this I did not understand. sorry for the inconvenience
