Hi,
I have noticed with new builds anytime I have a text box and create an <ul>
or <ol>
list it never shows up on the front end as a correct list. I then noticed today while doing some maintenance on older builds the same issue is happening.
I know there was an earlier issue with extra <ul>
s being added but this is different. The list now appears as randomly spaced content in a paragraph with no bullets, numbers or even in vertical format.
Is anyone else having this issue? Any idea what is causing it and how can it be fixed?
Thanks

here you go –
A bit more information of what I have tried:
I have deactivated all plugins, deleted any custom css, activated the Main Enfold theme, reinstalled WP, reinstalled Enfold….nothing seems to work.
Update – I figure out the issue! Sorry for the trouble.
Hi!
Glad to know you got things sorted on your end :)
Just for reference, what was the solution?
Regards,
Dake
Well…it just wasn’t make any sense and finally realized the only sites I was having the issue with were sites that I created a centered horizontal menu in the footer. I did this by adding a text widget to the footer and styling a horizontal menu. THIS was what was causing the issue.
To fix I simply had to remove the styling from the text widget and replace it with a <div class="footer-menu">
and the move the styling of the ul and ol into the child theme.
Hi!
Thanks for posting the cause and the solution :)
I’ll go ahead and close the thread now, please let us know if you ever need any help in the future.
Best regards,
Dake
