I have a Color Section and inside I have a Special Heading (Modern Centered) and two 1/2 page columns with an Icon List content element in each. When I preview it, the Icon Lists appear left aligned/justified within the Color Section and not centered under the Special Heading. I want them centered under the Special Heading. What do I need to do? Add padding to the cells?

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

November 17, 2015 at 8:45 am #537158Hi,
Thanks for the details, I’m not 100% sure I understand what you mean though. Do you want them centered within the 1/2 element all of them centered on top of each other under the the special heading?
Best regards,

Here is my inspiration page:
https://www.goodhire.com/resourcesI want my page to look the same. I don’t think it does. My columns look left aligned. I want my 2 columns to center under the Special Heading just like the inspiration page.
November 18, 2015 at 8:20 am #537859Hi,
I get a 403 error on that page, could you post a screenshot instead please?
Thanks,
RikardNovember 18, 2015 at 4:42 pm #538289My page: http://goo.gl/rWdZrU
Inspiration page: http://goo.gl/EeZbEjRecap: Trying to position both icon columns so that they are centered under the Special Heading just like the inspiration page.
BTW, the 403 concerns me. Is this on our site http://www.onesourcebackground.com? If so, do you know how I can fix this so Kriesi can view my site?
November 19, 2015 at 7:28 am #538767Hi,
No I didn’t see a 403 error on your page, just on the other one. Thanks for the screenshots, they looking kind of similar though, maybe you can try a different layout than the 1/2 you are using now, maybe 1/4 elements with content only in the middle two would look better?
Regards,
RikardNovember 19, 2015 at 5:12 pm #539099They are similar because I’m trying to apply the same look to my page. ;)
I did try the 1/4 element but then it squishes the content and makes them drop to another line. I also tried applying some padding to the columns but that didn’t work either. That or I’m not applying it correctly. Any other suggestions?
November 23, 2015 at 5:09 am #540491Hi,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold–>General Styling:
.page-id-5205 .avia-builder-el-2 { padding-left: 15%; }

RikardNovember 23, 2015 at 7:22 pm #541125So what you’re saying is there is no way to center elements to the Special Heading? I tried the above CSS and it looked weird because you moved the first 1/2 element over by 15%. The other 1/2 element didn’t adjust. So it’s not really centered. I just edited the column settings and applied 15% padding to the left on each 1/2 element. I still don’t think it looks good but if you don’t have any other methods to apply centering, it will have to do.
November 24, 2015 at 9:31 am #541388Hi,
Maybe you will have to experiment a bit with the values, but the code I gave you rendered a result pretty close to the example you posted. Please try to be a bit more specific on what you would like done, “I still don’t think it looks good” doesn’t give me much of a clue to what you think is wrong or right.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 24, 2015 at 4:23 pm #541744In response to the “I still don’t think it looks good.” As I’ve stated several times. I want the 2 columns to align center under the Special Heading. Your code just moved the left 1/2 column over. On my monitor it looked bad. By me adding 15% padding to each of the columns doesn’t really give me that. It’s close. Apparently there is no way to achieve a center alignment with two 1/2 column elements with the Enfold theme.
November 25, 2015 at 6:22 am #542140Hi,
The two columns are centered, they each take up 50% of the available space, I think you are referring to the content when you are saying that, and the content is aligned to the left. Like I said in my previous post you will need to be a bit more specific about details rather than saying “it doesn’t look good on my monitor” which, again, gives me absolute no clue what so ever to what you would like to align or change.
Thanks,
Rikard -
