Hi all,
i’m currently trying to recreate a clients homepage without using the demo. I could transfer all the contents easily, but i am currently not able to get the contents to display to 100% width. I am using the stretched layout with max-width of 1310px, which functions fine at the current version.
The problem seems to come from a different html structure – and i am not able to decipher, why enfold creates two different html hierarchies here.
First the current version:
Here, i have a flat html structure of the main content.
The dev version of the same page:
I have an additional container element, which i do not know where it comes from. This container limits the page width to max-width: 1310px and does again so in every content element.
The official kriesi-homepage uses the same flat html structure:
Main question: how can i set the enfold theme to create this html structure instead of this additional layer? The page content is exactly the same and identically built.

did you consider to use a plugin for recreating/cloning a page? I think it would be the best solution for this.

I used a 1/1 container for the first item, without a color section. If you do this, everything happens as described above – since the last update. It seems like it closes this first layout item only after the final item of the page, and not before the next one in the same hierarchy.
Before version 3.4 it wasn’t any problem. All i did now was to put the 1/1 container into a color section, which essentially does nothing, and everything is back to normal.Just to be clear: this shouldn’t be the right way to do it… the theme should give you proper alignments even without the color section, which serves a particular purpose which is not always needed.
