The post category name does not appear on the category page when a specific category is selected in in a category menu leaving users with no indication of what page they are on. Please advise on how to add. I would like to have the format of the main post archive page which includes a title and thumbnails to be used for the post category pages. See attached.

It should be displayed in the title container with the breadcrumbs but you have it disabled it looks like.
You can navigate to Dashboard > Posts > Categories and edit each category and type out the title in the description field.

ElliottI have ‘Display title bar and breadcrumbs’ set on the Posts page. That should override the setting in the Theme options, but it doesn’t.
I’ve gone to using the description and it’s working fine. Is there a way to have the thumbnails display on the post category pages like the main post archive page?

The archive blog style should be using the same style you have set in Dashboard > Enfold > Blog Layout, http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/category/science/.
The featured images should be displaying there as well. Have you done customizations?
